Micro machine is a generic term for ultra small machine and robot of some hundreds micrometer to millimeter. Micro Machine includes gears of some micrometer in diameter produced by using microscopic processing technology for semiconductor, and small self traveling robot made with the mechatronics technology.
The goal of micro machine technology for medical application is to achieve human body friendly medical care. It is an important power to find application for diagnosis that has been impossible up to date, and help to protect people's health and life. With micro machine technologies we can provide to doctors eyes and hands that can be reached to the seat of disease so far unable to cure. We would like to contribute to the medical care by fusing and developing micro machine technologies. |
