 History

July, 1961 Establish Kyoritsu Metal Industry Co., Ltd. with 500,00 yen in capital in Nishiyamachi Hodogaya-ku Yokohama. Starting business with the manufacturing and the sales of electric contact for acoustic equipment using gold and silver wire.
October, 1962 Received an order from Seikosha Group, present SEIKO Group, SII Quartz Techno Co., Ltd. and SEIKO EPSON Co., Ltd., for piano wire drawing process material to be used as quartz hole polishing material of a luxurious watch. Started business transactions.
July, 1963 Received an order from Suzuki Metal Industry Co., Ltd., a member company of Shin-Nihon Group, for producing stainless steel wire for wet springs.
October, 1974 Increase capital to 200 million yen.
November, 1978 Increase capital to 500 million yen.
June 1987 Received an order from Calsonic Kansei Corporation for wire winder to be used with flexible tube wire.
March, 1992 Relocated the central office and a factory to Fukuura Kanazawa-ku Yokohama. Beginning of operation.
July, 1995 Increase capital to 1 billion yen.
March, 1998 Received an official commendation as an outstanding company in Yokohama city in 1996.
February, 2000 Acquired ISO9002 for the production of stainless steel wire.
November, 2001 Passed the screening of Environmental Activities Evaluation program, "Eco Action 21".
February, 2003 Made the second renewal of ISO 9001 and completed the shift to ISO:2000.
